I just rec'd a note from a friend and here's what she said:

I just wanted to let you know that my Michaels store in Burlington has just put a ton of paper on sale for 14 cents a sheet. Many are embossed and or double sided. I promise I don't get a commission but I do want to let you and "the group" know that this won't last long, it's while supplies last.... Also a bunch of stickers and embelishments have also been clearenced out. We are doing our yearly reset and this is the clearing out to make way for the new stuff......

FatMax is ready to go scrappin'

Hello my scrappin' buddies..... just wanted you all to know that my darling husband bought me a Stanley FatMax tool box.... I know you may think that's odd but it's absolutely the most fabulous scrappin' organizer that you could ever imagine.  I was introduced to FatMax by Denise Black who is the Close To My Heart demonstrator at our crops & retreats.  I was totally green with envy over this extraordinary contraption.  Just check it out!

See what I mean!  This box... rolling cart.... organizer (whatever you want to call it) is WONDERFUL!!!!  It's absolutely SCRAPTABULOUS!!!

And, guess what?  My scrappin' partner in crime, Summer convinced her darling husband that she needed one too. LOL... and then just 2 days later, my mom calls and said she got a FatMax from her darling husband too...... WOW!!!!    (I probably should've bought stock in Stanley Corporation).  So anyway.... Me, my FatMax, Summer and her FatMax are off to the NC mountains this weekend to meet up with Denise and her FatMax along with some other wonderful ladies to do some scrappin' & yappin'!

I'll let you all know how all 3 of the FatMax's (whew) were able to get along!

See ya later!

I absolutely love scrappin' & yappin' at crops!

WOW!!!  What a day we had this past Saturday at the Country Inn & Suites in Morrisville for our Scrappin' & Yappin' crop. It was a full day event from 9am til 9pm with 21 happy scrappers in attendance.

We had lunch (pizza and salads with homemade dressings) catered by zPizza. It was absolutely scrumptious!

Everyone received a FREE gift just for attending and 5 ladies won more FREE gifts through random ticket drawings throughout the day.

Sherri Pinkham won the 2 page layout contest with her beautiful creation. Check it out!

Check out some of the pics.  There's definitely lots of scrappin' & yappin' going on here:

It was a Scraptabulous event!

We had our local scrapbook crop for the Reidsville/Eden/Ruffin area.  It was wonderful!  We had 7 new ladies join us and they were a perfect fit with the regulars!

Some worked on page layouts, some on cutting & layering embellishments and even one lady worked on wedding invitations that she was hired to make.  I spent was seemed like hours trying to get the hang of my Design Studio.  Thank goodness there was a couple of ladies there that straightened me out!  WOW!!! I don't know what I would've done without them!

Here's some pics of our excellent day!

It doesn't get any better than this!  I have way toooooo much fun at this crop and I am always counting down days til the next one!

Check our website for the crops and retreats that just may be in your area or an area that you want to take a "mini" vacation.  http://www.ncscrapbookretreats.com
